# Jupiter Wallet Auto-Earn

> Auto-Earn in Jupiter Wallet deposits idle funds into Jupiter Earn automatically, per wallet, checking hourly while unlocked. Hot wallets only, not social login.

## Overview

Auto-Earn is a feature of the Jupiter Wallet browser extension. When enabled, it automatically deposits idle funds from your wallet into [Jupiter Earn](/user-docs/earn/lend/earn), the lending side of Jupiter Lend, so they generate yield without manual action.

## How Auto-Earn works

* Once enabled, eligible funds are deposited immediately, then checked every hour.
* The wallet must be **unlocked** for deposits to execute. There is no background process when the wallet is locked. If more than one hour has passed since the last check, a deposit is triggered at unlock.
* A browser notification is sent on successful deposit. This is a system notification and requires browser notifications to be enabled.

## Eligibility

Auto-Earn is available for hot wallets only. Social login (Privy) wallets are excluded.

## Enabling and disabling

Auto-Earn is activated in **Settings** and configurable per wallet. Disabling it stops new automatic deposits.
