# YOLO: 500x–1,000x leverage against the House

> YOLO, a beta on jup.ag: trade SOL, BTC, ETH, ZEC or HYPE long or short at 500x–1,000x leverage against the House, with JupUSD collateral.

YOLO is an experimental, high-risk trading product on jup.ag, in beta. On YOLO, you trade SOL, BTC, ETH, ZEC or HYPE, long or short, at 500x to 1,000x leverage, with [JupUSD](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/earn/jupusd.md) as collateral and as payout token. YOLO has four modes:

* In Classic, you close a position when you choose.
* In [Double or Nothing](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#how-does-double-or-nothing-work-on-yolo), a position ends at a take profit that returns twice its collateral or at liquidation, unless the 24-hour limit closes it first.
* [Full send](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#how-does-full-send-work-on-yolo), on desktop, opens Classic positions on every market from one form.
* In [Spin](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#how-does-spin-work-on-yolo), you choose only the stake: YOLO draws the market and the side at random and opens a Classic position at 1,000x.

On jup.ag, open YOLO from Trade in the navigation, where it carries a Beta tag, or go to [jup.ag/yolo](https://jup.ag/yolo). To open the YOLO leaderboard, click **Leaderboard** next to the sound and settings buttons at the top of YOLO; in a phone browser, the button shows only a trophy.

> [!WARNING]
>
> At 500x–1,000x leverage, a price move of about 0.1–0.2% against you liquidates your position and you lose all its collateral. YOLO has no stop loss, and the only take profit is the fixed 2× target of Double or Nothing. Read [YOLO risks](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/risks.md) before trading, and only trade with funds you can afford to lose.

## How does YOLO work?

Every YOLO trade is placed against the House, not against other traders. The House is a pool funded only by trader losses, and trader profits are paid from it. YOLO does not use the JLP pool, and its rules differ from [Jupiter Perps](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/perps.md).

Four mechanics set YOLO apart:

> [card] [Bust price](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#what-is-the-bust-price-on-yolo)
>
> Your position is liquidated once your loss reaches its collateral minus the close fee: a move of about 0.098% against you at 1,000x.

> [card] [Profit adjustment](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/profit-and-fees.md)
>
> A winning trade pays less than the linear profit of the price move, up to 45 times your collateral. A 2% win fee applies to the adjusted profit, and every close pays a small close fee.

> [card] [Payout queue](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/payouts.md)
>
> Your collateral always returns at close, but your profit is paid only when the House can cover it in full; otherwise it waits in a first-in, first-out queue.

> [card] [Execution price](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#what-price-does-my-yolo-trade-fill-at)
>
> Orders are market orders that fill at the onchain oracle price when they execute, with no price limit.

## What do I need to trade on YOLO?

> [card] [At least 5 JupUSD](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#which-tokens-can-i-pay-with-on-yolo)
>
> Or another token, swapped to JupUSD when you open. The minimum applies to the JupUSD you end up with.

> [card] A bit of SOL
>
> For network fees and account rent.
