# YOLO FAQ

> Answers to common YOLO questions: automatic closes, maximum profit, lower profit than the move, queued payouts, fast liquidation, stop loss, JLP and the House.

Short answers about YOLO, the jup.ag product for 500x–1,000x leverage. Each answer links to the page with the details.

## Trading

> [accordion] Can I trade with 1000x leverage on Jupiter?
>
> Yes, on YOLO: SOL, BTC, ETH, ZEC and HYPE, long or short, at 500x to 1,000x leverage, on jup.ag under Trade. The JLP markets of Jupiter Perps go up to 250x. See the [YOLO overview](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo.md).

> [accordion] Is YOLO paper trading?
>
> No. YOLO trades use real JupUSD from your wallet: losses are real, and profits are paid to your wallet from the House. See [YOLO payouts and the House](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/payouts.md).

> [accordion] Is YOLO part of Jupiter Perps? Does it use the JLP pool?
>
> No. YOLO trades against the House, a separate pool funded by trader losses, and it has its own rules. See [How does YOLO work?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo.md#how-does-yolo-work)

> [accordion] Which tokens can I pay with on YOLO?
>
> JupUSD, or any other token in the list, which is swapped to JupUSD in the same transaction with a 0.5% slippage tolerance. See [Which tokens can I pay with on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#which-tokens-can-i-pay-with-on-yolo)

> [accordion] What is Double or Nothing on YOLO?
>
> A YOLO mode in which a position ends at a take profit that returns twice its collateral, after fees, or at liquidation at \$0, unless the 24-hour limit closes it first. You cannot close it yourself. See [How does Double or Nothing work on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#how-does-double-or-nothing-work-on-yolo)

> [accordion] Can I open a position on every YOLO market at once?
>
> Yes, in Full send, on jup.ag in a desktop browser: **Long all** or **Short all** opens one Classic position in every market, each with the amount you enter, for a single wallet approval. See [How does Full send work on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#how-does-full-send-work-on-yolo)

> [accordion] What is Spin on YOLO?
>
> A YOLO mode in which you choose only the stake: YOLO draws a market and a side at random, each outcome with the same chance, and opens a Classic position at 1,000x. You approve the trade before it is revealed. See [How does Spin work on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#how-does-spin-work-on-yolo)

> [accordion] How do I post a message to everyone on YOLO?
>
> With a megaphone: a Classic or Spin open with a position size of \$250,000 or more can carry a message of up to 140 characters, shown to everyone on YOLO with your wallet. See [What is the YOLO megaphone?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#what-is-the-yolo-megaphone)

> [accordion] Can I set a stop loss or take profit on YOLO?
>
> You cannot set your own. YOLO has no stop loss or limit orders. The only take profit is the fixed one of Double or Nothing, which returns twice your collateral; in Classic, you exit by closing the position yourself. See [How do I close a YOLO position?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#how-do-i-close-a-yolo-position)

> [accordion] Can I partially close a YOLO position?
>
> No. A close always closes the whole YOLO position. To reduce your exposure, close it and open a smaller one. See [Can I change a YOLO position after opening it?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#can-i-change-a-yolo-position-after-opening-it)

> [accordion] Why can't I close my YOLO position?
>
> A new position can be closed 15 seconds after it opens at the earliest: its Close button counts down until then. No trade goes through while trading is paused, during a full maintenance or while the trade service is unavailable; during a maintenance that blocks new positions only, you can still close. A Double or Nothing position cannot be closed manually at all: it closes at its take profit, its bust price or the time limit. See [Why can a YOLO trade be delayed or fail?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#why-can-a-yolo-trade-be-delayed-or-fail)

> [accordion] Why does the app say my wallet cannot sign the transactions?
>
> Some wallets cannot sign the transactions YOLO uses. Connect another wallet. See [Why can a YOLO trade be delayed or fail?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#why-can-a-yolo-trade-be-delayed-or-fail)

> [accordion] Is there a time limit or a holding fee on a YOLO position?
>
> There is a time limit but no holding fee. YOLO closes a position automatically 24 hours after it opens, and settles it like a manual close. There is no borrow, funding or holding fee. See [When does YOLO close a position automatically?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#when-does-yolo-close-a-position-automatically)

> [accordion] Why was my YOLO position closed without me?
>
> YOLO closes a position automatically 24 hours after it opens, as soon as its adjusted profit reaches 45 times its collateral, or, in Double or Nothing, when the price reaches its take profit. It settles like a manual close: your collateral returns, and your profit is paid or queued. A position that reaches its bust price is liquidated instead. The close transaction is signed by a Jupiter keeper account, not by your wallet, which is expected. See [When does YOLO close a position automatically?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#when-does-yolo-close-a-position-automatically)

## Liquidation and losses

> [accordion] Why was my YOLO position liquidated so quickly?
>
> At 1,000x leverage, a price move of 0.098% against you reaches the bust price; at 500x, a 0.198% move. The bust price is one leverage-th from your entry, minus the 0.2 bp close fee. See [What is the bust price on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#what-is-the-bust-price-on-yolo)

> [accordion] Can I add collateral to a YOLO position to avoid liquidation?
>
> No. The collateral of an open YOLO position is fixed: you cannot add to it to move the bust price away, or withdraw from it. Choose a lower leverage when you open if you want more room before liquidation. See [Can I change a YOLO position after opening it?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#can-i-change-a-yolo-position-after-opening-it)

> [accordion] Can I lose more than my collateral on YOLO?
>
> No. A liquidation takes the position's collateral and nothing more: no debt, and the close fee comes out of the same collateral. See [What is the bust price on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#what-is-the-bust-price-on-yolo)

> [accordion] Why did my YOLO trade fill at a different price than the chart?
>
> The chart shows indicative Pyth prices; a YOLO trade fills at the Pyth Pro price recorded onchain about 2 seconds after you submit it, with no price limit. See [What price does my YOLO trade fill at?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/trading.md#what-price-does-my-yolo-trade-fill-at)

## Profit and payouts

> [accordion] Is there a maximum profit on YOLO?
>
> Yes. The adjusted profit of a YOLO position is capped at 45 times its collateral (4,500%), before the 2% win fee: with 10 JupUSD of collateral, up to \$450. When a position reaches the cap, YOLO closes it automatically. See [Is there a maximum profit on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/profit-and-fees.md#is-there-a-maximum-profit-on-yolo)

> [accordion] Why is my YOLO profit lower than the price move?
>
> Winning trades go through a profit adjustment, then a 2% win fee on the adjusted profit; every close also pays a 0.2 bp close fee on position size, and moves of 0.2 basis points or less pay nothing. See [Why is my YOLO profit lower than the price move?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/profit-and-fees.md#why-is-my-yolo-profit-lower-than-the-price-move)

> [accordion] I closed a winning YOLO trade. Why haven't I received my profit?
>
> Your collateral returns at close, but your profit is paid only when no other profit is queued and the House can cover it in full. Otherwise it waits in the payout queue, which pays automatically and in order as trader losses refill the House, with no guarantee of payment. See [When do I receive my profit on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/payouts.md#when-do-i-receive-my-profit-on-yolo)

> [accordion] How long will my queued YOLO profit take to be paid?
>
> There is no fixed wait time, and payment is not guaranteed: queued profits are paid in order only as new trader losses refill the House, so a queued profit may never be paid. See [How does the YOLO payout queue work?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/payouts.md#how-does-the-yolo-payout-queue-work)

> [accordion] Can I provide liquidity to the House?
>
> No. The House is funded only by trader losses; you cannot deposit into it. See [What is the House on YOLO?](https://docs.jup.ag/user-docs/trade/yolo/payouts.md#what-is-the-house-on-yolo)
