YOLO is an experimental, high-risk trading product on jup.ag, in beta. Trade at your own risk and only with funds you can afford to lose.
For how YOLO works, see the YOLO overview.

What risks do the YOLO terms list?

Before your first YOLO trade, the app asks you to acknowledge its terms and risks, marked Experimental Beta — High Risk. You can reread them at any time from Terms & risks, and they link to the House rules. By accepting, you agree to Jupiter’s Terms of Use and acknowledge that:
  • Small price movements, about 0.1–0.2% against you, can result in the loss of your entire position.
  • Market orders only: YOLO does not support stop-loss or take-profit orders, and signing or submitting a close does not guarantee execution before liquidation.
  • Network congestion, oracle or keeper delays can prevent trades from executing, and Jupiter does not compensate for losses caused by network congestion.
  • Chart prices and PnL are estimates: trades settle at the onchain execution price, which can differ from the price you see.
  • You trade against the House, not other traders. Remaining collateral returns in JupUSD at close, and profit adjustments and fees apply. If the House cannot cover your profit, it enters a first-in, first-out queue and is paid as funds become available. There is no fixed payout timeline, and the profit may never pay out.
  • Smart-contract, oracle, wallet and stablecoin risks can cause losses.

What else should I know before trading on YOLO?

  • For the first 15 seconds after it opens, you cannot close a YOLO position, but it can be liquidated. At 1,000x, a 0.1% move against you in those 15 seconds ends the trade.
  • While trading is paused, you cannot open or close a YOLO position, but open positions can still be liquidated.
  • YOLO closes a position automatically 24 hours after it opens, or as soon as its profit reaches 45 times its collateral: you cannot keep a position open longer to wait for a bigger move. See When does YOLO close a position automatically?
  • In Double or Nothing, you cannot close the position yourself: it runs until its take profit, its bust price or the 24-hour limit. The bust price is closer to your entry than the take profit, about 0.098% against 0.141% at 1,000x. See How does Double or Nothing work on YOLO?
  • In Spin, you approve the trade before you see its market and side, and it always opens at 1,000x, where a 0.098% move against you liquidates it. See How does Spin work on YOLO?
  • A YOLO order has no price limit: it fills at the oracle price when it executes. See Trade on YOLO.
  • Gains and losses are not symmetric: the profit adjustment pays less than the linear profit of a move in your favor, while a move against you costs its full linear loss. See YOLO profit adjustment and fees.
  • A queued profit waits behind every earlier queued profit, including one larger than the House bankroll, until trader losses refill the House, and it may never be paid. See How does the YOLO payout queue work?
