How does YOLO work?
Every YOLO trade is placed against the House, not against other traders. The House is a pool funded only by trader losses, and trader profits are paid from it. YOLO does not use the JLP pool, and its rules differ from Jupiter Perps. Four mechanics set YOLO apart:- Bust price: your position is liquidated as soon as the price moves one leverage-th against you, for example 0.1% at 1,000x. See Trade on YOLO.
- Profit adjustment: a winning trade pays less than the linear profit of the price move, and a 2% fee applies to the adjusted profit. See YOLO profit adjustment and fees.
- Payout queue: your collateral always returns at close, but your profit is paid only when the House can cover it in full; otherwise it waits in a first-in, first-out queue. See YOLO payouts and the House.
- Execution price: orders are market orders that fill at the onchain oracle price when they execute, with no price limit. See Trade on YOLO.
