Jupiter Send lets you send tokens on Solana to anyone. You can transfer directly to a wallet address, or create a Magic Link that anyone can use to claim tokens, even if they don’t have a wallet yet. Jupiter Send is available at jup.ag/send. The page has two tabs: Send, to transfer tokens or create a Magic Link, and Receive, to get an address to share or claim a gift code.

Send Methods

The Send tab offers two ways to send tokens:

Transfer

Send tokens directly to a recipient’s Solana wallet address. The recipient must already have a wallet.

Magic Link

Generate a shareable link or QR code. The recipient claims the tokens by opening the link. No wallet required on their end at the time of sending.

Send to a wallet address

1

Open Transfer

Go to jup.ag/send and connect your wallet. Transfer is selected by default.
2

Choose the token and amount

Select the token and enter the amount, in tokens or in USD (the toggle under the amount switches between them). HALF and MAX fill in part or all of your balance.
3

Enter the recipient

Paste the recipient’s Solana address. The form checks it before you can send: it shows Invalid recipient address for a malformed address, and does not let you send to your own address.
4

Check the fee and send

The Fees row shows what the transfer costs, see Fees. Click Send and approve the transaction in your wallet.
Your past transfers are listed under Activity, below the form.

Receiving Tokens

The Receive tab of jup.ag/send shows the same deposit panel as Universal Deposit, with a Claim Gift button below it.
1

Open the Receive tab

Go to jup.ag/send, select the Receive tab and connect your wallet. Addresses are only displayed for a connected wallet.
2

Pick the network the sender uses

Select the token and the network the funds will come from. With Solana selected, the panel shows your Solana wallet address. With another network selected, it shows a deposit address for that network, and the funds arrive in your Solana wallet as USDC.
3

Share your details

Share the QR code, or click Copy address and send the address to the sender. Check the minimum shown for the network.
Only send funds on the network the address was displayed for. Sending on a different network than the one selected can result in loss of funds. See Universal Deposit for the minimums and limitations.
To claim a gift code you received, click Claim Gift, paste the code, and confirm. The tokens go to your connected wallet. See Claiming a Magic Link.

Gasless Send

When your wallet doesn’t have enough SOL to pay the fee, a transfer to an address can be gasless: the fee is charged in the token you’re sending instead of SOL, so the recipient receives slightly less than the amount you enter. There is nothing to turn on. The Fees row shows the fee in that token before you confirm, and the transfer is marked Gasless in your Activity list. Gasless applies to transfers only. Creating a Magic Link always requires SOL for its fee: without enough SOL, the button shows Insufficient Gas Fee. A gasless transfer must be worth at least $1; below that, the form shows Minimum $1 for gasless. The value applied by the app prevails.
Gasless Send is available for all tokens on the Jupiter Verified Token List. Unverified tokens are not eligible.

Fees

Jupiter does not charge any protocol fee for using Jupiter Send. The Fees row shows the cost before you confirm:
  • Transfer: the Solana network fee, plus the rent for the recipient’s token account when the transfer has to create it (see the ATA entry under Risks and Limitations). It is paid in SOL, or in the token you’re sending when the transfer is gasless.
  • Magic Link: a fee paid in SOL when you create the link.
The network fee alone is typically a fraction of a cent. Creating a token account for the recipient costs more, because of the rent.

Risks and Limitations

Transfers and Magic Links move tokens on Solana only. Never send tokens from another blockchain straight to a Solana address: this can result in permanent loss of funds. To receive from another network, use the deposit address the Receive tab shows for that network, see Receiving Tokens.
To hold a specific token on Solana, a wallet needs an Associated Token Account (ATA) for that token. An ATA is a dedicated account tied to your wallet for one specific token type.If the recipient’s wallet doesn’t have an ATA for the token being sent, one must be created, which costs a small amount of SOL (called rent). For a transfer, Jupiter Send creates it in the same transaction, and you, the sender, pay the rent as part of the fee shown in the Fees row.
Each Magic Link has a minimum and a maximum value, see Creating a Magic Link. Gasless transfers have a minimum, see Gasless Send. The transfer form sets no other minimum or maximum. Standard Solana transaction size limits apply.
